"We both quit our jobs and started farming full time. It's been a lot of ups and downs but in the end, it's been very rewarding"
Diane Vick is the founder of Vick Family Farms, and has managed the farm's labor force that employs 250 workers during its peak season. Diane left her full-time job as a bank teller in 1975 to begin farming the twenty-five acres of land on which her husband was raised. She has managed the farm labor ever since, and has seen her grandchildren join the farm as well.
